Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart's returns after 1st quarter injury in Super Bowl 50

"The 100 Yards" Injury Report
Jonathan Stewart
Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart was injured in the first quarter of Super Bowl 50 against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

However, Stewart returned in the final few minutes of the first quarter.

The loss of Stewart in the game would have been huge, and would definitely have hurt the Panthers.

Stewart has been a key player in Carolina's offense this season. He rushed for 989 yards and six touchdowns on 242 carries in the regular season, but injuries slowed him down in the second half. Stewart missed the final two games with injuries.
