"The 100 Yards" Staff Report
CHARLOTTE, NC -- The Carolina Panthers announced on Friday that they have resigned left tackle Michael Oher through the 2019 season, and extended their contract with head coach Ron Rivera through the 2018 season.
Rvera's contract was going to expire after the 2017 season before the signing.
"It was an easy decision. Ron has worked extremely hard, and we are thrilled with our current direction," general manager Dave Gettleman said. "Mr. Richardson has established a great culture here, and Ron is a big part of that."
Oher signed a two-year contract with Carolina a year ago after being released by the Tennessee Titans following an injury-plagued 2014 season.
