The Houston Texans benched QB Brock Osweiler in favor of Tom Savage, after Osweiler threw his second interception of the day.
Osweiler was 6-of-11-for 48 yards passing with the two picks, leading to a 13-0 Jaguars lead today.
Osweiler has thrown 16 picks this year, the second most to Philip Rivers (17).
Savage led the Texans to an apparent touchdown on his first drive, though it was fumbled into the end zone and there was no clear recovery so it was overruled and placed at the half-yard line. The Texans were stopped on a third-down run and Savage’s fourth-down pass was incomplete.
