Lions sign CB Brandon McGee, waive CB Keith Lewis

Allen Park, Mich. -The Detroit Lions announced today that they have waived CB Keith Lewis and sign free agent CB Brandon McGee. Contract terms were not disclosed.

McGee comes to Detroit following stints with the St. Louis Rams, New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys practice squads in 2015. He appeared in one game for the Giants last season (10/19 at Phi) after being signed to the active roster.

A former fifth-round draft selection (149 overall) by the Rams in the 2013 NFL Draft out of Miami (Fla.), McGee played in 17 games for the Rams from 2013-14. In 18 career NFL games, he has recorded 12 total tackles (10 solo).

Ridley played 26 snaps in the team's two preseason games, mostly with the third-team offense. He registered nine carries for 27 yards and caught one pass for five yards.
