Hoyer injured; Weeden gets start for Texans against Titans

Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer will miss consecutive games with a concussion.

Brandon Weeden will again start in his place Sunday against the Titans.

Hoyer will reportedly travel with the team and has been able to practice in a limited capacity this week, but remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

The Texans (7–7) can clinch the AFC South and a playoff berth on Sunday with a win and a Colts loss or tie to the Dolphins.
