Kelly was dumped after missing the playoffs for the second straight season and failing to do well in his first year in charge of personnel.
The Eagles are 6-9 after entering this season with high expectations to make it to the super bowl. They've lost several games by a lopsided margin and players had lost confidence in Kelly.
