The Carolina Panthers have defeated the Arizona Cardinals 49-15 in the 2016 NFC Championship NFL Playoff game. The Panthers will advance to Super Bowl 50 where they will face the Denver Broncos, who defeated off the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship earlier game this afternoon.

Quarterback Cam Newton and his Panthers teammates dominated while the Cardinals barely were on the scoresheet.


Cam Newton had two touchdowns in the game, while Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer had one. Panthers wide reciever Corey Brown had one touchdown and Cardinals running back David Johnson had one TD as well. Also scoring a TD for the Panthers was WRs Devin Funchess and Ted Ginn. Tight end Darren Fells also had a TD for the Arizona Cardinals.
