MINNESOTA – Seahawks punter Jon Ryan was banged up after a botched snap in the first quarter of Seattle’s NFC wild card game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Clint Gresham delivered a low snap to Ryan. By the time Ryan got the ball under control, Minnesota’s defense was converging.

Ryan flipped and came down on the Seattle 29, emerging with a bloody nose. 

There was no immediate word on the extent of Ryan’s injury. His return was listed as questionable, though he was on the sidelines kicking into a net soon after.

Ryan would return in the 2nd quarter for the Seahawks.
