The Pittsburgh Steelers are headed to the NFL post-season.

With the Steelers' 28-12 victory over the Cleveland Browns, and the Buffalo Bills beating the New York Jets, the Steelers managed to make the playoffs that they have won six Super Bowls by making.

The Steelers forced four turnovers – two interceptions and two fumbles by the Browns. Roethlisberger threw his third touchdown pass to Markus Wheaton from 8 yards

out with 10:43 left in the game. It came one play after Lawrence Timmons’ sack of Cleveland quarterback Austin Davis, who then fumbled. Linebacker Arthur Moats recovered at the 8. The Steelers then connected on a 2-point conversion.

Ryan Fitzpatrick of the New York Jets threw three fourth-quarter interceptions against the Bills, dooming the Jets in a 22-17 loss to the Bills that doomed New York's playoff hopes, and gave Pittsburgh the AFC's final Wild Card spot.

Also of note is that the Jets lost to a team that is currently coached by their former coach, Rex Ryan, so today's Bills win must have been bitter sweet for Ryan, who was cut as Jets head coach at the end of the 2014 NFL season.
