Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles' sprained right shoulder he suffered during Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Lions isn’t expected to keep him from playing against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday.
"Just what I heard today, it sounds like he should be in good shape," Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley said Monday.
Bortles was hurt when he was hit by Lions defensive end Ezekiel Ansah and safety Miles Killebrew after a 2-yard gain late in the first quarter. He left the field early before halftime to get his shoulder evaluated -- Chad Henne took the Jaguars’ final snap, a kneel-down -- but played the entire second half.
Bortles completed 22-of-35 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown (his 10th career pick-six).
