Broncos QB Trevor Siemian to start against Chargers

Broncos QB Trevor Siemian has been named the
starter when the team faces the Chargers on
Thursday night.
Denver Broncos' QB Trevor Siemian will start on Thursday night against the San Diego Chargers after missing Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons with shoulder injury.

Siemian left the game late in the second quarter after being slammed to the ground on a sack by Tampa Bay's Clinton McDonald in Week 4.

Yesterday, Siemian had limited work for a third consecutive day. He was then listed questionable for Thursday's game.

Broncos OL DeMarcus Ware was ruled out for the game.

For the Chargers, safety Jahleel Addae (collarbone) and cornerback Brandon Flowers (concussion) were ruled out for the game. Six other players are questionable after seeing limited work this week: OT Joe Barksdale (foot), guard Orlando Franklin (ankle), OT Chris Hairston (groin), CB Craig Mager (shoulder), ILB Denzel Perryman (shoulder) and WR Dexter McCluster (hamstring).
