Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers, line backer Zach Brown of the Buffalo Bills and wide receiver Will Fuller of the Houston Texans are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for games played the fourth week of the 2016 season (September 29, October 2-3).
Roethlisberger completed 22 of 27 passes for 300 yards and five touchdowns for a quarterback rating of 152.5, just shy of a perfect 158.3 rating. At one point in the first quarter he had three straight completions, all for touchdowns.
Fuller recorded a 67-yard punt return for a touchdown on his first career punt return in Houston’s 27-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The touchdown broke a 20-20 tie in the third quarter, which proved to be the game-winning score. He is the first rookie in Texans history to score on a punt return and first overall Houston player to do so since Keshawn Martin on Nov. 17, 2013.
Brown is the first Bill to win defensive player of the week honors since S Bacarri Rambo earned the award for his Week 10 performace vs. the New York Jets in 2015.
